A traditional Italian product, Ramazzotti Sambuca is distilled from the best quality star anise. It is normally drunk straight, 'con la mosca' (addition of three coffee beans) or flambee.
A mellow sambuca. Look for a pleasant, mild licorice aroma and perky, sweet flavor, with a surprisingly buttery feel. Try louching this sambuca with ice water, as you might absinthe, to coax out more anise flavor.
